The Colony's popular Jazz on the Beach series returns with special guest Bernie Williams, followed by Jazz and R&B favorites On Que!

Famed New York Yankee, 4-time World Series Champion, 5-time All-Star and accomplished guitarist Bernie Williams joins us for a night on the beach to celebrate his critically acclaimed second album, "Moving Forward". The Puerto Rico native is a classically trained musician who developed his love for playing guitar alongside baseball, while listening to salsa, merengue and 80’s rock."Moving Forward"
embraces those early influences, while also reflecting a unique mixture of classical and jazz guitar topped-off with additional Latin rhythms.

Bernie will play selections from "Moving Forward", take questions from the audience and sign his latest CD at the meet & greet after his set.

About Jazz on the Beach

The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort's popular event series utilizes the resort's pristine beachfront location and spectacular sunset views to bring live music acts to Longboat Key. It is a casual night of fine food, cocktails, dancing in the sand and fabulous Jazz acts. We feature an array of food and cocktail stations around the perimiter of the beach area where guests can mingle and sample selections prepared by The Colony's culinary professionals.

Guests may opt for General Admission or VIP tickets to Jazz on the Beach. General Admission tickets include beer, wine, food and the show. General Admission attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Outside food and beverage will not be permitted. VIP ticket holders will receive reserved table seating & service, passed hors d'oeuvres, food and cocktails.
